Every energy source we have used to date generates so much landfilled waste. Coal is the worst. Its operating efficiency is below 50% and significantly damages the planet. Wind Turbines are made of carbon fibers which must be landfilled at the end of life, and solar is much the same, with a life of about 25 years. These will no doubt be a part of a clean energy future, but what is the safest and cleanest energy source??

The chart indicates the obvious safe and clean truth of nuclear electricity generation. Unfortunately, some misconceptions and misperceptions have blinded Americans to the reality that we have the solution. Modern nuclear designs and current regulatory safety make the plants themselves secure from attack from the outside. Here are ten more reasons nuclear is the next generation SOLUTION to electricity production.

This is how much nuclear we need to replace all the other energy sources. We need nuclear to cover the land to reduce power loss over transmission lines and allow very rural areas to have their own SMR, Small Modular Reactors.?

The total cost is beyond reasonable. Advanced nuclear reactors are estimated to cost $5,366 for every kilowatt capacity. That means a sizeable 1-gigawatt reactor would cost around $5.4 billion to build, excluding financing costs. About 500 gigawatts can be built for $3 trillion.?

More energy for less! Rain or shine, wind or not, all base load 24/7, which means the grid still works.?

All the nuclear waste generated to date is about the size of a football field 30 feet high. Remember the coal ash? There are about 2 billion tons of ash contaminating water everywhere in America. What about wind turbines? The carbon fiber that makes the blades can not be recycled. Let's wake up to the truth! We have the technology and know how to provide clean energy in only a few years.
