Think Claude 3.7 is Just for Coding? Think Again!
It’s redefining how we approach marketing.
While I have spent a lot of time on AI tools, I found Claude's latest update really worthwhile and hence am writing about it. I spend a lot of time testing AI tools—not just for their headline features but for how they can actually make work easier and smarter. So when Claude 3.7 launched, I put it to the test. Not for coding, not for deep reasoning - perhaps the most used word in the past 30 days, but for something much closer to my world: Social Media Marketing and Analysis. One caveat - I haven't tested ChatGPT 4.5 OpenAI ChatGPT yet (its only available for PRO users), but Claude still is pretty awesome!
I expected the usual—some vague insights, a few generic takeaways. But Claude 3.7 actually delivered actionable, strategic depth. This is the AI assistant I didn’t know I needed. If you’re in marketing, this might change how you work. ??
1. Sentiment Analysis: Understand What Your Audience Feels
Launching a new product? Drowning in comments? Instead of manually scrolling through tweets and posts, let Claude 3.7 do the heavy lifting.
?? Prompt:
“Analyze the sentiment of recent social media posts about our [New Product]. Here are some of our posts: [list of tweets/comments]. Summarize the overall sentiment and key themes.”
?? Why it’s useful:
Quickly gauge audience sentiment—are they excited, confused, or frustrated? Use this insight to adjust messaging in real time. Additionally, you can use deepresearch to actually gather all customer reviews and tweets and do this in double quick time!
2. Audience Insights: Find Your Real Fans
Got a bunch of engaged followers? Comments rolling in? Instead of guessing, Claude can uncover audience trends—from common interests to pain points.
?? Prompt:
“Here are bio summaries and recent interactions from 50 of our most engaged followers. [Insert data]. What patterns or audience segments can you identify?”
?? Why it’s useful:
Tailor content and ads better—speak to what actually matters to your audience.
3. Competitor Tracking: Learn From Their Wins & Fails
Want to know what’s working for your competitors? Instead of manually tracking them, Claude can analyze their posts, engagement, and even audience sentiment.
?? Prompt:
“Here are the last 10 tweets from our competitor @BigBrandCo with engagement metrics. Also, here are some recent customer comments about @BigBrandCo vs our brand. Analyze their social media strategy and audience sentiment, and compare it with ours.”
?? Why it’s useful:
Spot trends, engagement tactics, and gaps in their strategy so you can outperform them.
4. Content Strategy: Generate High-Impact Ideas
Once you know what’s working, what’s failing, and what your audience cares about, you need a killer content strategy. Claude 3.7 can suggest campaign ideas based on real data.
?? Prompt:
“Based on the analyses above (audience insights, sentiment trends, and competitor comparison), suggest 5 social media content ideas or campaigns for next month. Explain how each idea addresses our audience’s needs.”
?? Why it’s useful:
Data-backed content beats guesswork. Every. Single. Time.
The Takeaway
Claude 3.7 isn’t just for devs—it’s a marketer’s secret weapon. Whether you’re analyzing sentiment, finding audience patterns, tracking competitors, or strategizing content, it helps you work smarter, not harder.
And the best part? No coding needed—just ask the right questions, and let AI do the work.
?? Have you tried using AI for marketing insights? I am currently also waiting for GPT 4.5 as a testing LLM as well. Will share results soon too
