Classism and Racism are the left and right hand of the same pair of gloves. Each of these isms motivate and perpetuate division and while many are aware of these divisive practices most are content believing since they did not start these practices they have no responsibility to end these practices but if we choose not to end divisive practices, are we not say we accept, embrace and agree with these practices?
What can we do as individuals to take these gloves off?

7 年It is important to seek the dialogue with all parties- pro’s, con’s, influencers and influenced whenever and wherever we can. We need to speak up against the wrong. It's our duty as humans. All people ! The prize at stake is peace and freedom. For everyone !

7 年Funny I grew up in Metro Detroit during the 1970's.....there is more talk about racial divide and issues now than ever. Very sad!
Just remember, folks -- openness cannot be a one-way street. Be prepared to hear things you don't like, and unpopular "truths," if you actually want open and honest dialogue. No sides in the culture wars are unblemished.
