Now it is very often used to mix styles in one interior. Mf has not been forming an interior based on one style for a long time. Our house is alive, it changes, breathes, absorbs our vision of the world.
And now quite often we use details that we borrow from classical styles.
Let's look at their main features, which we will be able to bring into our interiors in the future.
Classical (historical) styles in interior design: Antique, Gothic, Romanesque, Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, Empire, Modern.
Classicism (Baroque)
Characteristic features: glass, a lot of details, decor, floral complex motifs, a contrasting combination in tone (light-dark, gold-shine)
Composition: symmetrical arrangement of objects.
Empire
Characteristic features: The decor is more restrained, the decor is in details and minutiae, a contrasting combination of light and dark, local masses, larger spots, the beauty of natural textures.
Russian Manor style
Characteristic features: many items from different eras (Baroque, Empire, Classicism)
Art Deco, Neoclassical
Characteristic features: the rigor of the decor, geometry in shapes, a lot of gloss, gold, metal. Velvet, satin. Refined shapes, exquisite decor, details, refined surfaces.?
Jungelstil, Art Nouveau, Modern
The end of the XIX - beginning of the XX century.
Characteristic features: soft smooth lines, absence of sharp corners, floral ornament. Muted natural color scheme.
One of the latest one-piece styles.
