Artistic vision is not something one turns off and on. And why would I — or you — want turn it off? For photographers, vision is part of our DNA. Between assignments, I continually refine my vision, just as an artist sketches and a songwriter scribbles down phrases or riffs.
The San Luis Valley and its Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve are one of my favorite photographic locations to refine my vision and practice my craft between commercial work.
