Clarity on carrier cloud

• Carriers the world over are spending significant sums to develop carrier cloud propositions. The vast majority of the industry has based these investments decisions on unrealistic market expectations, which are no longer credible. In our view, it’s time to re-examine the facts and adjust course.
• The View Point provides also an analysis to support the view, that commercial cloud only focus will not deliver critical mass. Instead, the industry should recognize that cloud computing is an important element of an overall ICT proposition; as well as the next generation production platform for the network and services of the future.
