Hussain, this article is profound to me because it embodies what I believe, how I was raised and how I have lived and continue to live my life. Self-empowerment is modeled and taught by our families and the extended “village” who help form young people into contributing and capable citizens. My question to you is this. Why do you think there is so much self-doubt in our world today? We read all these posts about authencity, imposters, people bending to societal pressure (which is designed to create mediocrity), and such. Do you think these things are as prevalent as some wish us to believe, or are they more of an excuse for not doing what it takes early on in life to roll up your sleeves and work toward goal achievement? Why is there so little self-reliance these days? Maybe we should reinvent a modern-day Transcendentalist Movement? Your thoughts? I love your “thinking” posts! Shukran ????????
