USAID/ENGAGE Partner Hosts Forum on Democratic Resilience of Ukrainian Civil Society Amidst the War?

On October 22, the National Advocacy Network “ANTS” hosted the forum “FORGING VICTORY: From Citizen Resilience to the State of Gratitude” in Kyiv. The forum gathered community leaders, Ukrainian and international experts, and youth to discuss actionable steps for securing Ukraine’s future. Key speakers included U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink and EU Ambassador to Ukraine Katarina Mathernova. During the forum, the “ANTS” network also presented the “Nation of Gratitude Manifesto,” a visionary document for Ukraine’s post-war future.?

USAID/ENGAGE Partner in Brussels Calls for Enhanced Support for Ukraine and Financial Accountability for Russia?

From October 14 to 17, the International Centre for Ukrainian Victory (ICUV) conducted an advocacy visit to Brussels, Belgium. The team focused on strategic issues for Ukraine, including Russia’s financial accountability under the slogan “Make Russia Pay,” as well as strengthening energy security and imposing financial sanctions on Russia, including potential war taxes. ICUV held meetings with representatives of the European Parliament and other European institutions, as well as experts in international relations, geopolitics, and trade.?

“Legal Space” Shares the Story of Tyagin Fortress to Promote Ukraine’s Cultural Heritage?

On October 17, “Legal Space” held an offline presentation of the virtual museum of the Tyagin Fortress. This bilingual online platform showcases a unique national archaeological monument. It provides detailed information about artifacts and their history, as well as a 3D model of the fortress. The initiative aims to promote Ukraine’s cultural heritage on a global scale.?

USAID/ENGAGE partner announces the launch of the "Responsibility Award 2024"?

On October 19, Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation announced the opening of applications for the "Responsibility Award 2024." This annual award recognizes projects that, during the full-scale war, strengthen Ukraine and demonstrate responsibility at various levels. The shortlist will include ten finalists, and three laureates will be selected.

All finalists will receive acknowledgment and media support, while the laureates will be awarded a monetary prize. The award ceremony will take place on January 22, 2024, on Ukraine's Day of Unity, symbolizing the importance of unity and cooperation.
