Mid-Year Summit

In the first week of January, Little Rock AmeriCorps Members took it Back to the Basics, for Mid-Year Summit. This week-long training for AmeriCorps Members was put together by City Year Little Rocks Learning and Experience Manager, Marlie Mehu. Our first application window for AmeriCorps Members to return to service next year just closed. I am proud to share that?65% of our current corps applied to return to City Year Little Rock next year! Interviews are rolling, and we hope to have more apply for the second application window.

BENEFITS OF SERVICE:?

City Year AmeriCorps members are eligible for many benefits during and after their year of service, including resume and interviewing coaching, networking and mentoring, career pathway support, and access to exclusive scholarships at higher education institutions, including some undergraduate programs. Additionally, all AmeriCorps members are offered an education award of $6,400+ upon completion of their service that can be used for future study or job training, past student loans or educational travel. We have increased our bi-weekly stipend at all sites and offer enhanced mental health supports, relocation assistance, and more.
