City Union Logistics Co., Ltd., Shanghai recently arranged a complicated shipment of transformers to Honduras.
From China to Honduras, where there was no heavy lift break bulk vessel available, we had no choice but to use the container vessel solution. As there is no direct service from China to Honduras, CMA accepted this shipment as a transit service. It is a complicated shipment via container vessel, with the heavy lift main transformer units shipped as Breakbulk plus 7*40HQ loading accessories and 4*20GP SOC loading transformer oil, which shipped as one lot on one vessel with transit via Kingston, Jamaica.
Through our professional team analysis and discussion with Customs broker/ terminal/ Carrier, finally CITY UNION successfully completed this case and completed all the containers and transformer units loaded on the planned vessel.
