City Union Logistics, China, Moves AN124 Charter of Medical Supplies to Moldova

City Union just successfully finished the operation of an air chartering of AN124 to Moldova last week. The flight departed from PVG early morning on April 19, fully loaded with anti-epidemic materials: masks, protection suits, COVID-19 virus- test kits, gloves, medicines, ear thermometers, and more.

We got instruction from the Embassy that it must take less than one week to organize and prepare all the works. This includes the coordination of more than 30 suppliers, more than 20 types of epidemic medical goods with the strictest document requirements, as well as solving the Customs Inspection problem. The flight was chartered by the Moldova government from the Russian Air Force, which was delayed about 13 hours. We coordinated with each party and dispatched a frozen-goods truck to the airport terminal to store the virus-testing kits to maintain their quality.

After a one-day flight, it arrived in Moldova. We hope that the materials can protect their medical workers, doctors, as well as their citizens.We also hope we can defeat the virus as quickly as possible and get back to our normal daily routines.
