City of Pilot Point announces Jenna Glass as new Library Director

City Manager Britt Lusk announced Monday that Jenna Glass, current librarian for the Pilot Point Community Library, would be taking the reins as Library Director.

Glass has been with the City overseeing programming for the Library since 2022. She will take over for Wendy Turner, who retired from the city after almost 10 years of serving as the Library Director.

“I have really big shoes to fill but I’m very excited about leading the library,” Glass said. “I am excited about what the future has in store for the library and for Pilot Point.”

Glass came to Pilot Point after stints with the libraries in the Garland and Lewisville. She has a BA in Film Studies and a MLS in Library Science from the University of North Texas.

“We’re excited for Jenna and this opportunity for her,” Lusk said. “She has made great strides in improving our programming at the library. We know with her at the helm there will be great things to come.”

In addition to the normal programming for toddlers through adults, the Library has an exciting summer of programming moving forward. The annual Summer Reading Program will kick off at the Library on May 31. Make sure to watch their social media channels for all the events and details! Facebook ?| ?Instagram
