City of Los Angeles' Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Resiliency for the Homeless and at-need populations
In the past, I studied how resilient the City of Los Angeles pharmaceutical Supply chain was for the at-need population in the aftermath of a 7.8 earthquake.
I took the 2011 Red Cross study and definition of at at-need population and simplified it by using three most baseline attributing factors: 18-64 below the poverty line, no high school education, and unemployed. I felt other factors like car-less, age, and gender, etc wouldn't be considered if the three baseline factors were met.
I then displayed, using my factors against the original definition of at-need, where those populations resided and what and how many pharmacies are in close proximity to that newly defined space.
