City of Irving Had a Rough Commute

The morning commute was not fun in Irving.

First, an accident blocked the two northbound lanes of Highway 161 just past Highway 183. Traffic was backed up to Grand Prairie. While the fire department was cleaning up that wreck, another one occurred on westbound 183 at Carl Road. This accident involved a FedEx Truck and two cars. The backup appeared to stretch to Arizona.

As always, we hope those involved in this morning’s accidents are okay, and we thank first responders for getting to these incidents so quickly.
