Not Citizens of this Earth
First, Hello everyone! I have not posted in a while. I completely dropped the ball on this newsletter as I became focused on finding the next, new sales opportunity. I've asked God for his forgiveness and to again allow me the opportunity to share his word and thoughts given to me "by HIM" on this platform. Thank you for continuing to support this blog.
Have you ever felt like an outsider? I know I have certainly felt this way my entire life. Now, don't get me wrong. I have always been a popular guy and someone that folks were good hanging out with whether at a sales meeting, civic function or a social gathering. So, it's not that I'm socially awkward...I just feel different in many cases.
God's scripture says:
Philippians 3:20-21: But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
As a Christian we are called to walk a daily sacrifice for Christ. We are not called to be agreeable and accepting of all things in society. We are called to take a stand and to set ourselves apart from that mass in order to serve as an example for Christ. This will come with persecution or just feedback of "Why is that guy/gal such a buzz kill". Being faithful over time folks will remember your position and your dedication and will reach out to you for direction and prayer. Trust me...I hear from folks every day.
Be happy that you are outside the norm. This is how God made you special. This is how God created a special purpose for you. Be Glad that he loved YOU enough to trust you with HIS Work.
God is Good and YOU are GOOD in HIM.
In Christ,
Warren
