Fewer Americans are calling it quits. The number of people who voluntarily left their jobs fell at the end of 2023, according to December jobs data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). The quit rate now resembles pre-pandemic levels.

Sin City could be a great place to make career moves. Alongside Jacksonville, FL and Raleigh, NC, Las Vegas is one of three metro areas where jobs are growing fastest in the US. Quartz has the full list of the cities zooming ahead in job growth.
