Cities join Belgian Presidency to call for ambitious EU urban policy
The year may have just begun, but Eurocities and our members are already hard at work to ensure the voice of cities is recognised at EU level.?
With just four months until the 2024 EU elections, city leaders have joined the Belgian Presidency of the EU to sign the Brussels Declaration, a major new document calling for an ambitious EU urban policy.?
In this month's newsletter, you can read about the declaration's key messages, along with cities' important work to promote sustainable culture and build a better future for all people. ?

As momentum builds towards the European elections, city leaders have joined the Belgian Presidency of the EU to sign the Brussels Declaration, calling for an ambitious European urban policy. The declaration was developed with input from Eurocities and reflects many of the messages in our own manifesto.
