Citi Tech Fest - Fall 2023

Citi’s esteemed technical talent took center stage again during the annual?2023 Fall Edition of Citi Tech Fest.??

As you may recall in my?previous post , Citi’s Spring Tech Fest looked at our technology from a strategic lens. For Fall Tech Fest, we focused on putting our Citi technologists in the spotlight! Through presentations and demonstrations, they showcased their work, collaborations, and innovations while sharing best practices with colleagues.

The response from our technologists across all sectors and geographies was exceptional – our?14 live eventshad?over 7,000 attendees?and our?140 exclusive videos have notched up 13,971 views (and counting)!

Our?2023 Citi Tech Fellows, along with the inaugural 2022 class, were amongst those who hosted events and participated in live demonstrations, Q&As, and fireside chats. It was inspiring to see them, discussing a range of topics from productive hacking to microservices environment to the future of DevSecOps.

The Citi Tech Fellows title is Citi's pre-eminent technical distinction, granted in recognition of outstanding and sustained technical achievements and leadership in engineering and technology.

To round off the week, and to drive some healthy competition, we ran our first?Citi Tech Fest Charity Hackathon?which I am very passionate about. This global, 24-hour, open-sourced coding hackathon put the talents and skills of our technologists to good use, developing innovative solutions for Citi Foundation partner charities.

The winners will soon be announced and I look forward to sharing those with you all.
