THE ENEMY IS MORE ORGANISED AND WE HAVE IN-FIGHTING

#Accenture 埃森哲 - On 思科 #CiscoBreach. --- WE KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN! WE JUST CHOSE TO NOT SAY ANYTHING. BUT, WE HAVE PRODUCED A COLOURFUL REPORT; NOW THAT WE HAVE GOT THE TRACTION AND PUBLICITY WE NEEDED.

This begs a larger question: Are we, as a Security Leadership Community / CISOs, as we like to call ourselves, equipped to report, respond, assist, and conclude with a near-certain hypothesis (for our learning): WHEN SOMEONE ELSE GETS ATTACKED, AFFECTED, or BREACHED?        

What I see in 90%+ cases is harsh criticism - Some random OEM saying "I told you so!", some stupid analyst group writing a story on "How this was a cause of negligence & could have been prevented!" - Some others directly criticising the affected company itself - "This was bound to happen"

Why are we NOT simply publishing a daily #CyberSecurity #DataBreach #Horroscope
