A Circus Kid in College - What I have accomplished and learned.
Hello everyone,
I'd like to share a quick update about some exciting achievements during my senior year at university and offer an honest review of the higher education system from the perspective of a circus kid. Additionally, I'll discuss some things I wish I had known before starting college.
1. I am honored to be a graduate of the Millennium Fellowship. Out of 50,000 global applicants, I was among the 4,000 accepted. Although my project, Korembi (an endangered language learning platform), was met with underwhelming response when pitched to the Global Affairs Council of Naples, it still holds value as a resume entry.
2. I am currently in the process of publishing my undergraduate research thesis titled "Justice for Humanity: The Complicit Consent of Governments in Israel and Palestine Amidst Genocidal Tolerance".
I presented this research at the South Florida Regional Honors Conference and received an award for my poetry submission. Despite not being an Honors Student and having a less than stellar academic record, I proved that one doesn't need exceptional grades to achieve significant milestones.
3. I'm pursuing a Master's Degree in Entrepreneurship because of its affordability, usefulness, and flexibility. If financially feasible, I encourage others to consider pursuing advanced degrees for their potential long-term benefits.
4. My startup, Korembi, was selected among the top 100 in a CEO competition, receiving angel investment funding. We're currently competing for more funding to enhance our Language Learning Model (LLM).

5. I'm establishing a non-profit called Bridges Beyond Shelter to provide resources to the homeless community in Southwest Florida. Small actions can make a big difference, as demonstrated by our Christmas Eve initiative where we distributed over 50 bags of essentials to homeless individuals. Thank you CAN Community Health and Crunch Fitness to donate!
6. I've launched a business consultancy named Serlia Creative after leaving my marketing job. Success doesn't happen overnight, and I'm proof that perseverance pays off.
7. Despite facing challenges, I'm still pursuing my private pilot's license. It's a reminder that progress takes time, and comparisons to others' journeys are unproductive. William Hill is still my greatest inspiration - he has been my instructor.

8. I'm about to launch an exclusive car washing business in Southwest Florida with a charitable component aimed at raising awareness about breast cancer. Hint, women detail cars in pink.
9. I've fostered three animals successfully, advocating for animal adoption and fostering as accessible ways to make a difference. You can visit this page SWFL Animal Fostering to find the resources to apply as a foster in your area.
10. I'm finally launching my podcast, "Re-formed Society," where I'll discuss controversial, political, and dark topics with impressive guests.
11. I've published my second poetry book, "Lucida," and am working on my third book, "Sabaism". If you want to publish a book, do it! I use Kindle Direct Publishing. Shout out to the incredible and renowned Florida author Lucy Tobias, who inspired me at 16 to publish.
12. At 20 years old, I'm navigating the complexities of adulthood while still feeling the innocence of youth. Self-love, acceptance, confidence, and patience are my ongoing lessons.
13. Lastly, I'm hosting an event called "Impact x FGCU" at my university on April 1st to promote sustainability, philanthropy, and innovation. We're inviting notable organizations like CAN Community Health and Oyster Boys, along with other impressive nonprofits, student organizations, and student-led businesses.
If you have a good idea, don't hesitate to pursue it. I've been materializing my vision for three months, and if I can do it, so can you!
