Why do we do what we do?

At Yuma Labs, we aim for co-creation with our clients to generate the most sustainable sunglasses that are not only made from as much recycled and bio-based content as possible but are also made to recycle again afterward. We do this to inspire and accelerate circular economy thinking in our client’s industries and the world at large.

We strongly believe that the choices we make today will impact the world we live in tomorrow. And that's why we are committed to making a positive impact on the environment and promoting sustainable fashion. And we hope that our eyewear will inspire others to make more sustainable choices in their own lives. ????

Design days at Yuma Labs

At Yuma Labs, a design day for the new collection of sunglasses with a client is an exciting and collaborative experience that's all about bringing a fresh, innovative vision to life. We start off with a friendly chat and a cup of coffee, getting to know our clients and their unique style preferences. Then, it's time to let the creative juices flow as we brainstorm and sketch out bold new ideas for the collection. There's always lots of laughter and energy in the air as we experiment with different shapes, colors, and materials.

As the day goes on, we work closely with our clients, taking their feedback and ideas into account every step of the way. With each prototype and mockup, we're constantly refining and improving our designs until we've created something truly special. And of course, we make sure to take plenty of breaks to enjoy some delicious snacks and drinks along the way.

By the end of the day, we're thrilled to present our clients with a stunning final design that they'll be proud to show off to the world. It's always a joy to see their faces light up with excitement as they realize their vision has become a reality. At Yuma Labs, we believe that collaboration and creativity are the keys to success, and we can't wait to see what amazing designs we'll come up with together next!

Spring/summer collections of Sams?e Sams?e, Christian Wijnants, and Florentina Leitner

We are excited to announce the newest collection of releases with Sams?e Sams?e, Christian Wijnants, and Florentina Leitner. Together with these brands, we have created a stunning range of sunglasses that blend unique designs with sustainable materials. Each pair is made with recycled or bio-based materials, from recycled acetate to recycled polyester and all sunglasses are designed to be recycled at their end of life as well.?

Circular economy: What is it and why do we need to act on it?

At Yuma Labs, we're committed to sustainability and finding innovative ways to make fashion more environmentally friendly.
