"The Circular Economy" which I believe is the way that all business will be conducted into the future:
- In nature there are no landfills
- Nature grows plants and animals and when they are done it returns nutrients to the soil
- Business has adopted an approach of make, use and dispose.
- This creates huge quantities of waste which in turn causes damage to the environment.
- What if the manufacturer of products also has to take care of the waste associated with use of that product
- Better still what if they could design re-use, recycle or remanufacture what remains of the product at the end of it's life cycle?
- What can work in the long term?
- What if the goods of today could become the resources of tomorrow.
- Manufacturers would design products to come back to them after they have been used.
- Their technical components would be re-used
- Their other parts would be biodegradable and increase biological value
- They would use renewable energy to transport and manufacture these goods.
- What if we didn't need to own a product but just use it when we needed and paid for the use?
- There are already companies working this way.
- One day all companies will do so too.
- Lets be among those leading the way!
