About circles, infinity and kindness... and big human data.

This is about "big human data", or how we can also look at ourselves as big data models, full of data, but often build, influenced and nudged in ways we do not realise, control or acknowledge.

Getting a cleaner picture of our understanding of the world starts with "self".

Cleaning our model, so to speak.

This might be important, in professional contexts, so that we develop other dimensions to our own understanding, and develop ways to help others query themselves into growth.

Each one of humans sometimes seems like a "mad" person, always pursuing a version of life and outlook that is personal to the individual, yet doing little effort to ask the right questions, and somewhat incapable/unwanting to deal with any inputs/responses that dont fit a particular vision or "box" like effect, of the way we have decided/used to, of seeing the world, or develop confirmation bias to understand the complexity of it.

We are great box builders, information gatherers, but we still feel very challenged, with making sense of it all.

I'm not sure most times, I feel identified enough with this species and their practices, but I'm more aware now that this is not on purpose, both by me and you, it's just a by-product of our numbers and ways, multiplied to infinity.?

It's cleat to me at this point, that these "ways of being" are mostly a byproduct of evolution, or the ways our monkey like society has evolved briefly in time, from the time we lived in caves and had closed social circles, to this new time, where very fast, we're approaching concepts of mind hive, several dimensions of "social", and... still somewhat having issues dealing with the several possible meanings of identity, social fabric, societies, countries, cultures and difference.

In the mist of this... any human who tries to have a "real" conversation is often cast aside, and deemed "dangerous". This breaks apart society and isolates even further any "different" elements, speeding their difference journey, a bit like "feature" extraction in a big data system.

Because, with 8 billion "residents", make no mistake, we're a big data system.

Thus, making full circle, identity and "wants", quickly become assailed and "owned" by particular factions or interests within our society, that will want to "input" new data, and often want to control the way elements of this system develop over time, for many reasons.

At the individual level, the more a human "accommodates" and chooses it's only identity elements, the more siloed this human becomes, and the more this data about him is used in ways that he may not perceive. Some other times, by negating this drift to our own big data system, we're facing inwards, and becoming more puppet like humans; while some other times, all these choices are just a natural distribution of the many ways we've come to manifest and evolved into this world. They "tell" of our history, but do little to reconstruct our minds in a way that is less biased, less judgemental, more kind but also learning of novelty factors, or new ways of being, and of changing the "big data" inside our heads.

We're essentially, each one of us, a small part of a big data system, full of wrong data, very open to bias, exceptionally "own-able" by these massive ledgers or influencing patterns that go around the world, injecting their data into our systems, so they can "pollute it" with further bias and wrong outputs.

BUT... every human faces a choice.

Albeit we might not know several information drivers, reasons, why's and etc...("complexity"), we are capable of quickly judging if a small choice about a small thing, has a positive or negative value. Not for us, individually... but for "good", for society as a whole.

We are capable of asking, and knowing... should "this" be added to our system, to our species, to our understanding? Does it have a "positive" value?

Billions and trillions of choices. They "make" either... distributed madness, both inwards, and outwards.?OR... the "stuff" we want to put out there, to see more of, in the world.

Ultimately, what is the role of developed perception, intelligence, social intelligence, evolution, and how each one of us plays a small part in society's..."equation".?

We can improve the equation over time, with every small choice, and it's possible to mitigate the bad elements, the bad data, out of our equation.

... being kind, inclusive, diverse and accepting difference as a way for our "combined equation" to... manifest itself, better.

"Accepting it", ie "difference", means supporting it, in every possible way.?

By supporting others, we support ourselfs, in the end.?

A great xmas/holidays to all.

Yes, that's nicely put and an empowering thought. It's very easy to underestimate one's impact, for better or worse.
