The Circle of Influence

When working with my clients, be they CEO's through to emerging leaders and business owners, we talk a lot about the circle of influence a concept introduced by Stephen Covey. Never before has it been so critical. The concept helps us navigate our way through, what at times, is an overwhelming amount of information. The items within the circle of control are the things you have direct control over such as your behaviour, responses and attitude. Focus your energy on what you can control it helps us make decisions when our emotions are running high. We are all leaders in some capacity - it is time for the strong leaders to shine. Lead your teams and even your families and friends by focusing on the circle of control. Every day, even before Covid-19, we were facing new challenges, now they are just different and moving fast. Ask yourself are you focusing on what you can control?

Great article Tiffany!!!!
Exactly my saying! I live by this framework and it has been super beneficial to the way I work and/or do business as well as my personal life. Keep it short and simple is often the key. Thanks for the reminder. ?
