Circadian Rhyth
A brief overview of the Circadian Rhythm
?? 6 am - The ideal time to wake up as the sun rises at approximately that time and hits the eyes.
?? Between 6 am to 9 am - The time also to get some sunlight and to exercise.
?? 9 am to 12 pm - It is said to be the peak time when our mind is sharpest and alert. It is the best time to schedule any important meetings as our focus is maximum at that time.
?? 12 pm to 3 pm - As the afternoon approaches energy levels can dip so it's better to not schedule any tasks which require thinking capacity and instead can take a 30 minute nap in between.
?? 3 pm to 6 pm - Our body again witnesses a rise in the energy and physical tasks can be scheduled at that time.
?? 6 pm - The sun sets at approximately 6 pm so we should start wrapping up our day and spend some time doing recreational activities.
?? 6 pm to 9 pm - As the clock slowly approaches 8 pm, it is best to reduce the use of excessive bright lights as it can trick our brain to NOT produce melatonin (the sleepy chemical) and it can interfere with our sleep. Best to avoid using any gadgets after 8 pm.
?? 10 pm - Go to sleep!
Get some sleep for atleast 7 to 8 hours.
