The countdown is on!

On May 28, 2024 your IT Systems must be able to shorten the standard settlement cycle for securities trades from two business days after the trade date to one business day (or from "T+2" to "T+1). IT departments and bank operations should partner to ensure success in meeting this deadline.?
Lucky for you, Evolven provides technology and resources that can make this transition seamless.?
Maturing ITSM Processes through Automated Change Detection & Reconciliation
Many organizations are interested in automatic change reconciliation, highlighting unauthorized changes. This use case helps to avoid issues caused by changes that are not planned and accounted for. At the same time, control over the change process, which identifies unauthorized changes, is a frequent compliance requirement.?
I found that less mature organizations hesitate to look at automatic change reconciliation as they believe that their processes and data do not support the quality required for automation. My experience is contrary to this common belief.?
Automation can drive maturity while protecting the organization. First, Evolven can help increase the accuracy of CMDB by frequently refreshing collected configuration and tracking configuration at the detailed level. Second, incomplete and inaccurate data in the change requests can be tightened by Evolven pointing to the mistakes made. For example, an IT SME forgot to include some of the CIs to be changed in a change request. Evolven will point out that some potentially authorized changes were detected, and it looks like some CIs were missed in the change request. Another example is change requests with long time windows are sometimes used to deploy changes not included in the initial approval. Evolven can highlight changes that touch layers not included in the original change requests, appear to be anomalous to the rest of the approved deployments, create drift, etc.?
This information arms the organization with the facts helping to close the gaps in loose processes.?
