I remember when I started dating after my divorce. I felt super un-pretty, didn’t trust men and was on the look out for “players”. I’d left an unfulfilling marriage that was unfortunately filled with lies, cheating, manipulation, and stonewalling. I was a shell of a woman and any confidence or prettiness I had was stripped away in that marriage. To make matters worse, cultural and societal rules about how a woman should live her life, added extra pressure. There were lots of moments where I felt hopeless and felt let I had nothing to offer anyone. It was definitely a low point in my life.

How do you start over from ground zero?

While I was shedding my old life, another one was forming. Something miraculous was happening! My inner voice was piping up to lead me through this dark period. It told me I was beautiful, had many gifts, and my heart would lead the way in creating this new chapter. All I had to do was to listen and have faith to trust…especially in the unseen.

This new chapter of my life including dating, a terrain I was not really familiar with at all. As I entered the dating world my intuition helped me see which guys were duds right away! It was like I had some crazy spidey sense and could even see guys who resembled my ex. It allowed me easily dodge them, saving myself a lot of future heartache and disappointment! AMEN!!! My sixth sense also said it was part of the process because it was preparing me. It was lining up soul-level love. A lovely man, someone genuine, patient, who would love me for me. All I had to do was TRUST the process!!

Not only did it deliver but it also helped heal my tender heart!! It spoke like a nurturing mother, a wise elder, and felt like a soothing cup of tea on my very brittle heart. For example, my body went into a tailspin when I entered a relationship with my sweetheart. You see, it showed me things about myself that was painful to see. Like accepting a man…
