A large attendance of over 170 delegates attended the business breakfast at Pairc Ui Chaoimh, Cork. Our guest speaker Frank Ryan of Cushman Wakefield updated members on the commercial viability thresholds across a range of sectors and the changing nature of clients requirements. International investors now a feature of the Cork property sector but a healthy local construction and development sector is vital to ensure the region continues to supply the much needed office, industrial and residential product.
Several large new office developments have now commenced and the residential sector continues it's recovery to normal levels of activity. It seems that with a large number of projects now commenced with others to start in 2018 the industry in the region may double it's output in 2018.
Cork County Mayor Declan Hurley and Deputy Lord Mayor Cork City, Fergal Dennehy join the CIF delegation at Pairc Ui Chaoimh, Cork
