CIC Insurance Group Rolls Out its Six-year Sustainability Plan 2025-2030

We are excited to share our vision for a sustainable future through our inaugural Sustainability Report and our six-year roadmap, built on four pillars: Environmental Stewardship, Social Responsibility, Economic Resilience, and Responsible Governance.

Our 2030 targets include:

• Growing microinsurance policies to make up 25% of our portfolio, expanding affordable risk solutions to underserved communities
• Achieving gender balance across our workforce, achieving 1% representation of persons with disabilities
• Reducing GHG emissions by 30%
• Elevating our customer satisfaction index to 90%

In alignment with the UN Global Compact Network Kenya and Nairobi Declaration on Sustainable Insurance, we’re investing in products that address emerging risks like climate change, while empowering cooperatives, businesses, and individuals. This commitment informs our business practice as a cooperative organization.
