Ciarb is committed to promoting the benefits of private dispute resolution and ensuring that alternative dispute resolution methods are accessible to everyone. Since 2019 and in collaboration with the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration SCCA , Ciarb has delivered over 50 courses in Saudi Arabia, training over 1,500 candidates. In 2024, Ciarb and SCCA are set to deliver 15 courses in the country.
As a global organisation, Ciarb is acutely aware of the need for sustainability and the increasing impact of climate change. As well as looking critically at its own operations, Ciarb has sought to raise awareness in the wider sector of these issues, particularly as they are a factor in an increasing number of disputes.?
Ciarb and the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES) announce their intention to collaborate, with the aim of better supporting their respective memberships.
Policy
In February 2024 the UNCITRAL Working Group II met to continue the discussion dedicated to technology-related dispute resolution and adjudication, reviewing a number of model clauses and guidance texts.
