Ciao, HERE!

The past four years at HERE Technologies has been one of the most fulfilling chapters of my professional career. Not just because of the success of the company, but because it gave me the privilege of working with amazing people who challenged and inspired me every day to be better. Through multiple pivots on our Developer strategy, messaging and GTM activities, as well as a lot of hard work from the entire team, we became the #1 developer relations program and beat Google at it's own game to also become the #1 Location Platform. This role was not just about developer relations but it was about creating the whole category of Location! And, as everyone knows - category creation is not only hard work but it is also a ton of fun! IF you get it right that is...

There are too many firsts to count! Notably, we disrupted the market by our innovative and developer friendly licensing and packaging by ushering a usage based pricing model, we built innovative products and services that again disrupted in how developers were able to consume not just services but also raw content – thus empowering a new class of data developers to leverage location intelligence in their applications and solutions. In a world of closed gardens, we broke boundaries and walls to become an open and connected ecosystem to empower developers across all platforms, all technologies and all industries! All in all it was one heck of an amazing ride that I was very fortunate to be in the drivers seat of this rocketship as we transformed from being a B2B location company to becoming a juggernaut location platform company that is unparalleled to any other.

This has been the hard work of many, many, individuals across the organization who have passionately and tirelessly worked over the years to make this happen. I will forever be grateful for my experience at HERE and the #HEREWay of working and living our values.
