Churchill and the war
From the pen of #JoséGalicot
“We will fight in the air, we will fight in the sea and we will fight in the land, but we will never surrender.” -Winston Churchill
Let's imagine the moment when Winston Churchill is elected Prime Minister of England when the English were being attacked by the bestial force of Nazism who mercilessly bombed the city of London thinking that they could subdue the British Lion. But it didn't happen. The strength and spirit of the English finally helped defeat Hitler.
Suddenly Israel is surprised with a horrendous attack on civilians by the cruel Hamas forces that have subdued the Palestinian people of Gaza. They attacked civilians, cutting the throats of children, raping women, defenseless peasants, they kidnapped 220 citizens of several countries who were precisely celebrating a festival that called for peace.
Israel is attacked from the East by Hamas, from the North by Hezbollah, which has one hundred thousand units, well-trained by the Iranian mullahs who maintain and subsidize them into a religion that forces women to wear black clothing from the tip of the toe to the tip of the hair and that still does not allow them to drive or travel without family custody. Israel is attacked in the Northeast by Syrian guerrillas, where it is not clear who is guerrilla and who belongs to the Hafez al-Assad government that killed half a million of his people in an infamous civil war. The Huttis from Southern Saudi Arabia send projectiles directed against Israel and provided by Iran…
So we remember Churchill who promised his people tears, pain and blood… just as those the people of Israel will have to pay for being the only democracy in the Middle East; an island of freedom, where women have the same rights as men and where everyone, disregarding their sexual preferences, are accepted with all the rights and duties of any Israeli.
Given the fallacy of the permanence of the Palestinian people in that space, we must remember that King Solomon, King David, Jesus, the Virgin Mary, and all of Jesus' disciples were Jews and the Palestinian people did not exist back then, because Muhammad created the Muslim religion in the 7th century AD.
Thus, hardship, pain, blood and tears are presented in the face of this new and terrible war for the Jewish people and also, why not, for the adjacent towns.
We will fight in the air, we will fight on the sea, we will fight on land but we will never surrender or lose the old Jewish homeland.
