Churches Under Attack

There have been many people who have been injured or died by men who enter the place of worship, to do evil. I have traveled around the world and have seen violent attacks against people that gather peacefully to worship God. Evil has taken a new turn in our global community.

Pastors have stepped up their security at churches, by hiring off-duty police officers, armed security officers, and executive protection officers. Many churches in Texas alone, after the Sutherland Springs First Baptist Church mass shooting, that left 26 dead, and 20 injured.

Two men that were near the church heard the shooting, the two men grabbed their rifles to engage the lone gunman, and pursue him as he got away. The men stopped further deaths by shooting at the lone gunman and notifying law enforcement of the incident.

The gunman crashed his vehicle, at the time of the incident, it was unknown if the hero citizens who came to a stop the gunman or if the man shot himself.

Many pastors would encourage members of their congregation if they were licensed to carry a firearm concelled to start bringing it to church to help prevent further church shootings. 

The church is better prepared to deal with mass shootings because of hiring police officers for security, and church members that are a license to carry a concealed permit to carry a sidearm.

We, as a community, as a nation, and as a global community, are living in troubled times. Pastors and church members have taken measures to protect the people of God. and stand against evil in this world.
