CHURCH SECURITY NOW

As I reflect on the Texas Church Shooting, my heart is saddened and fueled with a renewed dedication to apply myself to helping church’s in establishing a security ministry.  

 If you don’t have a church security ministry – you need to start one THIS WEEK!  The cost of inaction is catastrophic!  Please note the Church Security Roadmap that I published earlier.

Our mission is more critical than ever. It can happen here and it will happen here. We all need to wake up and take appropriate actions. We are called to “up our game”, to apply ourselves more diligently, to study tactics and responses while planning for foreseeable events. 

We are in a prevent defense. The objective is to stop trouble BEFORE it starts. If you see something – SAY Something.  Take this ministry very seriously – our families, friends and guest lives depend on it. 

Security is everyone’s responsibility! Be alert, know what is going on around you, say something if you see something out of place or looks wrong. Support the police and security personnel. 

It has been said that an attack on any church is an attack on all churches. Next week people will be a little more cautious about attending a worship service, a little more concerned about security for their families and friends. A dedicated security team will provide a strong deterrent and help make houses of worship safe and secure. 

Please pray for the families in Texas and around the world who have lost loved ones to violence aimed at the Lord’s church!
