Christmas - The Time of The Gift

The gift giving at Christmas; God forbid we ever forget the real symbolism of gifting. For on the day of his birth three wise men hearing of his birth departed to seek out the new King of the Jews. In St. Matthew Chapter 2 Verse 11..."and opened their treasures, they presented to him gifts; gold, frankincense, and myrrh." This tradition is carried on every year for those of Christian faith and even for many who are not of Christian faith but who cherish the fundamentals of Christmas, with spreading of love, kindness, and helping others. We give to our loved ones and friends to show our love and to remind one another of that we do care. And we donate to others less fortunate so that they may find HOPE in their lives because that is what humans do. And The Hope Institute is dedicated to helping others find their footing, their purpose, their created essence.
As the year comes to an end and we celebrate the life of a man who sacrificed so much to give us so much love, perhaps we consider what we can do to be more like him, Jesus Christ. Regardless of your beliefs, our history records the amazing teachings and miracles that he did while walking and teaching from his soul, from his connection with God. And so, the record of history is there and his lessons are there and the act of being kind, of loving purely from the heart is his greatest lesson to us.
And as we have a few moments to consider our great fortune and blessings, we should also consider how we may be able to help those who need a help up, a way to get away from the grip of dependence on social programs and step into the light of free enterprise and the power of creation. I can see a place of knowledge shared with all and no clouds of secrecy or veils hiding manifestos of unearned power. A place where a group of like-minded business, energy and arts masters build community for the sole purpose of sharing their knowledge with proteges who then take their new vision and go forth and build their own while feeding the perpetual and ongoing machine of HOPE.
So, here is the question this article was written to ask: Do you have some form of asset that you are trying to figure out what to do with? Does your heart tell you to give to a place that is ready to help others, a different place where the mission is to help others to grow their created purpose into a meaningful business or career, with emphasis on business?

Perhaps The Hope Institute (501.c.3) is the right place for your asset to do the most good. The need is for land, farms, homes, abandoned malls, schools, or other properties that can be renovated and turned into places of sanctuary and learning or are turn key for challenged young adults needing some guidance and training from seasoned professionals who live there. We are building communities of businesses and arts to collaborate, communicate and create new models for social enterprise. Go to https://livinghopeinstitute.org and look over the model.
