Christmas Shopping for Good!
BNI Scotland West
To be the go-to Organisation for Business Referrals in the West of Scotland
Christmas is a big expense, and sometimes you might feel like you are over-buying to keep up with social pressures. One way to mitigate this is to do good with your Christmas gifting, by buying your cards and presents from a local charity.
The Beatson Cancer Charity, a member of our Vision chapter, has a wonderful shop full of feel-good gifts that your friends and family will love. What makes it even more special, is knowing your gifting will provide comfort and hope to cancer patients and their families during Christmas and beyond.
Jewellery, candles, tartan hip flasks, beautiful decorations… there are many lovely goodies to choose from! Click this link to go to their online shop. And yes… buying from the shop does count as a referral to Vision Chapter member Maisie McCormick!
Did you know that the BNI SuccessNet newsletter has a regular "Dream Referral" feature, which allows one member the opportunity to put their ask out to members across the globe?
Earlier this month, for instance, Johncey George, a Leadership Coach based in Bangalore, India, asked for his dream referral - group coaching for Senior Management teams, with a focus on coaching introverts.
If you would love the opportunity to get your big ask out to members across the globe, then all you have to do is fill out a simple form. Just another perk of your BNI membership!
Star Networker - Colin May
“Since joining BNI at the beginning of 2024, with a basic understanding of the organisation, the personal and professional development accomplished through my newfound network is incredible - for myself and the business. The support offered by my fellow chapter members, and from Scott & Rob at a regional level is amazing.
The benefits to Mill & Brae are vast and varied, especially being in the unique position of hosting our own chapter on a weekly basis, along with the majority of the regional training and meetings. Maximum exposure all the time!"

It’s not many who will get to thank BNI directly for the business as often as I do.”
Colin, General Manager of Mill & Brae Hotel, Bar and Restaurant, and President of the Abbey Chapter, has been third in the regional traffic lights for two months in a row, thanks to the excellent support he has offered his fellow members.
Although Colin says he is getting a lot out of BNI through hosting meetings and events at the Mill & Brae - we are really the lucky ones because it is such a fantastic venue! If you live in Paisley or a visiting the area, we highly recommend you pay them a visit.
