I can say that happened to me after my 1-week trip to the Netherlands.
The picture "2023" is from a NY celebration at Concertgebouw - the main concert square of downtown. Gool DJ set, friends around, crowds of people celebrating. I enjoyed! ??
I would rather skip any comparison between Estonia and the Netherlands.
Everywhere you can see pros and cons as a tourist as well as a resident.
But I should admit, I was happy to come back to a place I can name as my home for recent two years, Tallinn. ????
Although the Christmas market is closed, it worked till Sunday 8th of January.
I could not resist showing you this beauty.
Do you live in Estonia too? Have you visited it?
If you have not been here yet, I recommend coming and getting your impression in the summertime or on Christmas eve.
Other seasons are okay for visiting it too. But mind the wind, air humidity and other specific aspects of a local climate ??????

Although, to be honest, this year the country has experienced modifications, and a high inflation rate, it is still reasonable, IMHO, for me to live, stay, and develop here.

It would be wrong to say I'm not open to any other moves/relocations.

And..to return to shots I promised - here are magic, illuminated Raekoja plats/City Hall square pics! It was super cosy, just the same as a year ago or maybe even better. A local fair usually lasts long, this year, for example: 20 (something) November 2022 - January, 8th 2023.
