Christmas Greetings from Inspectio
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year
While wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a happy new year, we also would like to take the opportunity tell you a little bit about what happened in 2021.
Even in these troubling times there are plenty of things we find reason to celebrate!
Inspectio 2.0
For Inspectio the one thing that definitely ranks as number 1 is the fact that we have released our new version, Inspectio 2.0 to the market and have started migrating existing and adding new clients to the new version. With Inspectio 2.0 released we are ready to help asset owners to streamline even more of their field inspections, cut time and cost and not least increase control and compliance.
Our slogan is "Inspection made easy" and this is what we want to do for you. Inspectio 2.0 contains the same user friendly task templates that you are used to, but have got a much better functionality for selecting the exact equipment you want in your project based on a variety of "filter tags" that you can add your equipment. We like to compare these to the "hashtags" you already know from social media.
You will also notice a change from earlier when you had to toggle between various projects to see different tasks that was perhaps related to the same equipment or area. Now you will see that one piece of equipment can have several different task related to it, and with a new location structure you will see all the equipment related to the chosen area. Unless you don't want to of course..
With the mentioned filter function you can always filter in and out the equipment based on category or any chosen property.
Among other new features we could also mention more flexibility in the selection of location drawings and a highly increased fast synchronization. If you want to know more about this then don't hesitate to contact us at [email protected] or through our webpage. You will find the link below.
Strengthening the organisation
With a growing client base, more activity and the release of Inspectio 2.0 we have seen the need to strengthen the organisation, and have got two more members on the Inspectio team during the year.
Thomas Liest?l?is our new Customer Success Advisor and is the the main point of contact to help our customers to take full advantage of the potential within Inspectio. A lot of you have already gotten to know him, as he daily helps our clients to find the best solutions to their challenges. With his background from mechanical engineering and software development he is a great asset as a link between finding practical solutions and implementing these in to the end product. Thomas is also well familiarized with commercial relationships within several industries, including oil & gas, maritime and renewable energy.
Hein J?sang is our latest hire, and started at Inspectio in April as a Software Engineer. He holds a bachelor degree in Computer Science from the University of Bergen and has really hit the ground running. He has already proven to be a skilled developer and problem solver and we are happy to have signed him.

New partners
We are also very happy to say that we have signed more partner companies and have joined forces with Vinde Tilkomstteknikk here in Norway and IKM Measurement Services in Australia. We look forward to cooperating with these, the same way that we do with our existing partners.
Our partner companies have access to our software and mutual clients can easily share access to their assets, making it simple to perform projects both for the asset owner and the partner. With the streamlining of the inspection our partners are also in a position to deliver quite competitive bids on inspection jobs in the market, compared to competitors that are not yet fully digitized.
If you are a inspection provider and need to digitize your inspection services then contact us for a talk about becoming a partner company.
Integrate and cooperate
This fall we have performed a very exiting pilot project on the COSL Innovator along with Ex-Tech Group that delivers the worlds smallest ex-certified sensors. These sensors have been placed inside junction boxes and light fixtures placed in areas with difficult access, and give a sensor reading of temperature and moisture within the equipment. This data is integrated in the ex-register in Inspectio, and the inspector will have access to this on their tablet.
The purpose is to use this data to extend the inspection interval of the equipment, to ensure less time spent on unnecessary inspections based on condition and risk.
With the integration in place, Inspectio and Ex-Tech will continue to cooperate around any interesting project with other asset owners that want to harvest the benefits of more efficient inspections and a prolonged interval.
Going forward
A lot has happened in 2021, but we look forward to keeping up the same momentum in 2022. During the first months we expect all of our clients to be migrated to Inspectio 2.0 and there are a lot of new usage areas where they can benefit from the same advantages they have experienced on their existing ones.
Based on the activity level we will also be in the market to increase our staff both within software development and commercially. Hopefully we can greet even more members welcome to the team next year.
As of today we have a lot of clients in the rig market, but we believe Inspectio will be a great investment for companies in different sectors and will continue our work to introduce our solution to a variety of possible new clients with primary focus on the offshore and maritime market.
