Five years ago, my daughter Aurora, inspired by a love for storytelling, yearned to create a book about a young girl named Mulan, a magical panda, and their adventures in an enchanting forest. She dictated the tale to me, and together we crafted four captivating chapters. But as time passed, Aurora grew older, and the book remained incomplete, leaving a lingering sense of unfinished magic. I felt like the Abba song "Slipping Through My Fingers"
This year, the arrival of Aurora's brother, Bruno, rekindled my desire to fulfil our literary dream. I reached out to Bard, a remarkable language mode by @Googlel, to collaborate on completing the story while preserving the essence of Aurora's original vision. With Bard's expertise, we penned four more chapters, which Aurora wholeheartedly embraced. Encouraged by her enthusiasm, we added three more, bringing the story to its rightful conclusion.
Now, the book is complete, ready for Aurora to share with Bruno during this joyous holiday season. Originally composed in Italian, we decided to enrich the narrative by translating it into English, Polish, French, and Spanish, mirroring the multilingual tapestry of our family. This endeavour not only brought the story to life but also provided a unique opportunity for our children to expand their linguistic horizons. What a heartwarming testament to the power of storytelling and the enduring bonds of family!
Slipping through my fingers all the time
I try to capture every minute
The feeling in it
Slipping through my fingers all the time
Do I really see what's in her mind?
Each time I think I'm close to knowing
She keeps on growing
