Christmas Comes Early: Net Zero 2024

Christmas Comes Early: Net Zero 2024

Mark your calendars for September 18th[CC1]?[CC2]?—this year's highly anticipated Net Zero Conference is set to take place at the Anaheim Convention Center. As a proud partner and avid supporter, I am thrilled to once again be part of this incredible event, organized by the talented team at Verdical Group .

For the past 11 years, the conference organizer, Verdical Group, has dedicated themselves to bringing together minds from around the globe to share knowledge, collaborate on ideas, and work toward creating a better community and environment. The growth of the Net Zero Conference is nothing short of remarkable, now attracting over 1,500 attendees from more than 50 countries. This growth is a testament to their ability to foster an inclusive and engaging environment where everyone, regardless of their experience level, can contribute and learn.

Reflecting on my own journey into the world of sustainability, I primarily felt like an outsider, however, my first experience at the Net Zero Conference was refreshingly different. I was warmly welcomed by Verdical Group’s Founder & CEO Drew Shula and his team, who guided me to sessions and panels that aligned with my interests. I was able to connect with industry experts who encouraged my questions, making me feel valued.

Each year since, I have approached the conference with meticulous planning as there are numerous sessions to attend and the presenters are consistently the best in the industry, offering updates on cutting-edge technologies, policies, and innovations. Last year, I found myself running between rooms, trying to learn as much as possible on the topics that matter most to me.

One aspect of the conference that should not be overlooked is the exhibit hall. For just $20, you can gain access to a wealth of information, see the latest technologies firsthand, and, perhaps most importantly, take advantage of unparalleled networking opportunities.

Additional opportunities to network include the exclusive Trailblazer Awards Gala, which celebrates changemakers who are making a positive impact and will be hosted on September 18 at the House of Blues Anaheim, and a series of shoulder events like the Welcome Happy Hour, which will be hosted at Golden Road Brewpub in Anaheim on September 17th. A series of building tours in the surrounding area will be offered throughout the week. Check out their program for a full list of shoulder events.

I hope to see you there, ready to learn, engage, and contribute to the ongoing conversation about building a more sustainable future. Together, we can make a difference—one connection, one idea, one action at a time.
