Christmas at Carrs Pasties – it’s all hands on deck!

How are we at the end of 2022 already?

It feels like only yesterday that we were starting our Christmas preparations?for 2021?and?yet?here we are doing it all again!?

December at Carrs Pasties is great, there’s so much going on and it’s all?hands?on?deck. The phones are ringing with orders for Christmas parties (it’s not a party without pasties in Bolton!), the bakery team is?surrounded by pastry and busy making as many products as possible?while?our stores are filled with customers braving the cold to get?their?Christmas treats?and our drivers are delivering to homes and parties across the north-west.

We still find time to have some fun,?though -?Secret Santa, Christmas lunch,?jolly jumpers,?singing Christmas carols and songs,?and?taking the time to enjoy?the festive season is?what it’s all about.?

One of our favourite things about Christmas is knowing that there are families?getting together,?enjoying our?pasties,?and making new memories?together.?We’ll spend Christmas Eve making pasties, taking last-minute?orders,?and serving freshly baked products to those who need a snack during their Christmas shopping rush, before going home to enjoy quality time with our own friends and family.?

In the last two weeks of?December,?we expect to make at least one pasty per?Boltonian?– that’s a lot of pasties so the?time off?is well deserved!

2022 has been a great year for Carrs. We’ve introduced new?members of staff?that have made such a difference to the company, our processes have improved and helped us reduce waste and cost, and we’ve started some huge projects.

We have to say that not all projects have gone to plan, and that’s ok?because?as a business it’s important to try new things, even if they don’t always go to plan. It’s how you learn what works and what doesn’t,?continuous improvement is a huge part of our culture, so?we encourage our staff to try new things.?

We’ve got big plans for 2023, there’s a collaboration coming that’s going to be amazing?(and unexpected),?we’re on the hunt for a new shop outside of Bolton,?our new product development team is working on some exciting new flavours and of course, there will be a few surprises along the way.?We’ll also be focusing on our nationwide delivery service and?sharing our pasties with as many people as possible across the UK.?
