A Christian's life of sanctification
Believer and Sin
One can get lost in thinking that we no longer have sin, and another delusion is that we think that a Christian does not need to be sanctified, that is, to live a holy life in Christ Jesus, but is allowed to sin because he is under grace. The Bible says the Law is Good. Without the law, there would be no sense of sin. The law shows us the sin . The Lord Jesus fulfilled the law for us and atoned for our sins. In Him, in His blood, we are completely innocent and pure and acceptable before God. We have God's gift of righteousness. This is the righteousness of Christ received from God. However, this does not mean that believers live a dirty and sinful life. God works in us to will and to do. God's Spirit leads us to a holy life. God sanctifies us. God also affects sanctification. He wants to sanctify us completely. God has not called us to filth but to a holy life in Christ Jesus
Tess. 4:3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification, that you abstain from fornication,

1 Cor. 6:15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? So would I take Christ's members and make them Porto's members? Get it out! 1 Cor. 6:18 Flee fornication. All other sin that a man ever commits is outside the body; but the fornicator sins against his own body.
Eph. 5:3 But let not fornication and any kind of impurity or covetousness even be mentioned among you - as befits saints - Eph. 5:27 that he might set before him a glorified church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but which would be holy and blameless. 1 Piet. 1:16 For it is written: "Be holy, for I am holy."
Even if a person is a Christian, it does not mean that he can no longer sin. Some have gone so far as one preacher of the faith movement told me, that since we are now new creations, the old man has been completely destroyed and disappeared. It no longer exists. Here again comes this one distortion of the delusional movement. This kind of false doctrine brings such a wrong way of life that a person can live as he wants, because he is completely immune to the power of sin and the lusts of the old person. When such a person really sins and does not repent, he rebukes Satan and blames everything on Satan. He deals with everything with this false theology of the faith movement that we are now completely new like Jesus without the existence of the old man. All the teachings of the old nature and the work of the flesh from the Bible are ignored. There is no longer a need for a life of sanctification when there is no old nature and no existence of sin. However, a lot of wrong and sinful things happen in these cults, which are accepted because it is no longer considered the cause of man and a place for repentance, but always the cause of Satan, and things are spiritualized, bypassing man's responsibility
Another wrong way of life in a Christian's life is the wrong kind of grace doctrine. In this doctrine, under grace, continuous sinning and falling is allowed, and it is not taught that God's grace leads to sanctification away from a filthy and sinful lifestyle. This also includes the doctrines of the sacraments of the churches, where the salvation gome to infant baptism and then through other sacraments without personal repentance and faith. The fallacy of these churches is also that it is said that a person has changed through the ordinances of the church, even though it has never happened. So man still lives in sin because he has not changed and he does not have the power of the Holy Spirit. So man is still a child of the devil and sins because he is not a child of God . Man must be born again and change as the Bible teaches John.3 and Believers goes to follow the Lord Jesus in a life of sanctification as, for example, Romans 6 is taught
New Life of sanctification as a disciple of Jesus. The Lord Jesus leads the believer to all truth through the Holy Spirit and the Truth of God's Word. So the believer is Holy. A man who was once a servant of sin is now a holy servant of God in Christ Jesus. Man is set apart for God. Man is separated from sin to holiness. From Lie to Truth. Man is set apart for a holy life, to which the Holy Spirit leads
Romans:
6:1 What then shall we say? Must we remain in sin that grace may abound?
6:2 Away with it! We who are dead to sin, how shall we still live in it?
6:3 Or do you not know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
6:4 So we are buried together with him through baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too must walk in newness of life.
6:5 For if we have grown together with him in the same death, so shall we also be in the same resurrection,
6:6 when we know that our old man has been crucified with him, so that the body of sin may be defeated, so that we no longer serve sin;
6:7 for he who has died has been justified from sin.
6:8 But if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him,
6:9 knowing that Christ, after he was raised from the dead, dies no more: death no longer has dominion over him.
6:10 For what he died, he died from sin once and for all; but what he lives, he lives to God.
6:11 So consider yourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
6:12 So do not let sin rule in your mortal body, so that you are obedient to its lusts,
6:13 and do not give your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but give yourselves, having come from the dead to life, to God, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

6:14 For sin has no dominion over you, because you are not under the law, but under grace.
6:15 So how is it? Are we allowed to sin because we are not under law but under grace? Get it out!
6:16 Don't you know that whose servants, to obey whom you surrender, you are the servants of him whom you obey, either the servants of sin, to death, or to obedience, to righteousness?
6:17 But thanks be to God, that you, who were once servants of sin, have now become obedient from your heart to the form of doctrine over which you have been given,
6:18 and that you, freed from sin, have become servants of righteousness!
6:19 I speak in the manner of men because of the weakness of your flesh. For as you formerly gave your members to filthiness and lawlessness as servants to lawlessness, so now give your members to righteousness as servants to sanctification.
6:20 For when you were servants of sin, you were free from righteousness.
6:21 What fruit did you get from it then? The one you are now ashamed of. For its end is death.
6:22 But now that you have been freed from sin and have become God's servants, your fruit is sanctification, and the end of it is eternal life.
6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord
1 John's Epistle
1:5 And this is the message which we have heard from him and which we declare to you: that God is light and in him is no darkness at all.
1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, but walk in darkness, then we are lying and not doing the truth.
1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship among ourselves, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.
1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1:10 If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
1 Thessalonians
4:1 Then again, brothers, we ask you and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that you, as you have learned from us, how you should walk and be acceptable to God, as you walk, you may grow up more and more in it.
4:2 You know what commands we have given you through the Lord Jesus.
4:3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification, that you abstain from fornication,
4:4 that each of you know how to marry his own wife in holiness and honor,
4:5 not in the passion of lust like the heathen, who do not know God;
4:6 that no one oppresses his brother and does him harm in any matter, for the Lord is the avenger of all this, as we also told you before and testified.
4:7 For God has not called us to impurity, but to sanctification.
4:8 Therefore, whoever rejects these does not reject man, but God, who also gives you his Holy Spirit.
