CHRISTIANITY HAS ALWAYS BEEN AGAINST HELLENISM: The bare truth!

CHRISTIANITY HAS ALWAYS BEEN AGAINST HELLENISM: The bare truth!

It is proven by irrefutable evidence that the early Christians completely destroyed the Hellenic world between the 3rd and 6th centuries. But we need to look a little bit at who these Christians were.?

Christianity according to Christian tradition begins with a Jew named Yeshua of Nazareth who was said to be the messiah prophesied by the Jewish prophets.?

The Jewish compatriots of Yeshua who followed him were the first to spread after his death that he was supposedly resurrected and that the second coming that will judge the living and the dead is imminent. Of course, 2000 years have passed since then and no "Second Coming" has taken place. The supposed teachings and miracles of Yeshua were first popularized with great zeal by the so-called apostles, such as Saul (Paul), Kepha (Peter),?but also the other Jews who struggled to create a new religion around the person of Yeshua.

We should not underestimate the Jew SAUL, known as the Apostle Paul, who with his inventions about the first Christian history laid the foundations for later contributors to the Christian religion and its creation.

Among the numerous religions that existed at the time, Christianity was a negligible, insignificant sect of Judaism. That was the time when the Roman Empire oppressed the peoples it had conquered and Yeshua's message found resonance with the distressed and the wretched, illiterate and slaves.?Hellenes, especially in metropolitan Hellas, did not convert to Christianity. When Paul spoke in Athens, he received the disdain of the Athenians who rejected his sophisms and theologies about Jesus as gibberish.?

However, many Hellenes, mainly in the eastern provinces (e.g. Syria, Egypt) but also in Rome, heard the Christian sermons and accepted them. Besides, they had already been influenced by the countries they lived in.

The more thorough acquaintance of the Hellenes with the Jewish religion and the foundations for its spread were laid during the Hellenistic period, when the Ptolemies reigned in Egypt (specifically under Ptolemy II Philadelphus). It was then that all the Hebrew texts of Tanakh , the Hebrew Bible, were translated into Hellenic.?

This translation is known as the "Translation of the Septuagint" by the 72 Hebrew scholars used by Ptolemy II to translate the sacred Hebrew texts. This was the preparatory work on which early Christians relied and used Hellenic as a vehicle for the spread of Christianity since Christianity accepted and fully accepted the Hebrew Bible, known to Christians as the Old Testament?since Yeshua (Jesus) is said in the Gospels to say that he did not come to abolish the previous writings but to complete them [Matthew 5:17].?

The Hellenic "koine" was the international language of the time, and some "Greeks" helped to spread the preaching of the proto-Christians, as for example with the epistles of Paul.?

Later, Greeks who voluntarily converted to the new religion also participated.?Paradoxical as it may sound, these people, even though they were Hellenes in origin, placed religion above their ethnic origin, similar to Jews, for whom it did not matter what nationality they have, but only the Jewish religion.?Religion was what defined them. Unfortunately, we have seen this weird phenomenon to date. So the proto-Christian, whether Hellene in origin or Roman, were not interested in their ancestry, but above all in the Christian faith. And whether they were really Hellenes is understandably called into question as in order to be Hellene, you need to follow the four foundations, Herodotus has perfectly described.?In fact, there were many already at the beginning of Christianity, theologians of Hellenic origin, who with great zeal converted to Christianity and helped in its doctrinal foundation. Theologians such as Irenaeus of Asia Minor or Hippolytus of Rome. The latter also wrote a textbook against the Hellenes philosophers -?and especially against Plato - and on the antiquity of Judaism to demonstrate that the Jewish religion and the Jewish god, who was now also the god of Christians through Yeshua ("Christ"), was older and of course the only true one. No wonder why national traitors like the above named ones have been partly responsible for what happened to Hellas since then.

The next generation of theologians became even more fanatical, with figures such as John "Chrysostom" of Antioch, Basil of Caesarea, and others, all from the eastern provinces. They, of course, did not feel Hellenes and were only interested in their Judeo-Christian faith. For them the term "Hellene" meant nothing but "impiety and idolatry" and became a term forbidden for Christians.?We must bear in mind that these people were so deeply convinced and brainwashed that they thought that the end of the world and the second coming would soon come. Already Paul in the first epistle to the Corinthians [7, 29] says that "the time remaining is too little." Origen Adamantius, another Christian theologian,?he was so fanatical about Christian writings that he castrated himself by applying to the letter a phrase allegedly uttered by Yeshua ("Jesus Christ") in one of the Gospels ["there are eunuchs who alone were castrated for the sake of the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 19:12)].

This fanaticism made them relentless persecutors of the true Hellenic religion and the Hellenes in general, whom they considered possessed "pagans" and foolish philosophers...?Unfortunately, there are still such insane fanatics among us in 2022!

This Christian theology with the prevalence of Christianity as the official religion of the Roman Empire was the instigator that led to the disastrous decrees that imposed Christianity by force on all Hellenes and put the tombstone on the remarkable Hellenic world.

It is this grotesque anti-Hellenism zeal of Christian theologians who dealt so intensely and extensively with the prevalence and spread of Christianity by using the Hellenic language for this purpose that gave rise to the wrong identification of Christianity with Hellenism. However, this is a contradiction and a distortion since Christianity fiercely fought the real Hellenism, that is, what is wrongly referred to as "the ancient Greek civilization", whereas it is our anscestors heritage to us. The mentally disturbed identification of Hellenism and Christianity comes only from the altered identity that Christianity attributed to those "Hellenes" Christianized, but also from the insidious and fraudulent attempt to bridge in retrospect and retrospectively the gap between Hellenic antiquity and Christianity with various para-philological constructs.?

It is said, of course, that the attempt to harmonize Christianity and Hellenic philosophy dates back to the past and that it was already attempted by the first Christian theologians such as Clement of Alexandria and Gregory of Nazianzen.?However, it is more an attempt by the early Christians to distort and use ideas from the Hellenic philosophy to more easily convert the Hellenes and to establish and consolidate Christian doctrines and Christian theology.

Of course we must not forget that they had the full support of the Roman Empire, which brought draconian laws and decrees from the various emperors against the Hellenes. With horrific persecution, torture and mass murder for all those who refused to convert to Christianity.?Those emperors that Christianity called them "saints" for slaughtering Hellenes!!! A very good example is Theodosius who they called "Theodosius the Great" for cunningly closing 20000 Hellenes in the Hippodromes in Thessaloniki and slaughtered them for not converting to Christianity.

With the destruction of their religious temples, the prohibition of their religion. The burning of their books and libraries. The prohibition and closure of their Hellenic schools and their destruction. The destruction of their statues... and much more...

Therefore, true Hellenes care and love our Nation and also know that it has four strong, timeless foundations, which we must take care of and promote.

1) ΟΜΟΑΙΜΟΝ = same blood

2) ΟΜΟΓΛΩΣΣΟΝ = same language

3) ΟΜΟΘΡΗΣΚΟΝ = same religion

4) ΟΜΟΤΡΟΠΟΝ = same way in morals, traditions, habits, celebrations, institutions, customs and mentality

ARE YOU HELLENE?

Indeed Christianity from the onset has been agains any form of culture especially the Hellenic one. The Christians have always wanted their subjects ignorant so they could restrain them etc, Furthermore, all of monotheistic religions want their subjects culture less. Moreover, in China communism did exactly the same thing by burning books art and musical instruments!!! Need to say more?? Man’s greediness has been destroying culture and spreading fake news particularly about Hellenism.
