We all know the story of the teacher who walks into the classroom one morning and writes 1x9 on the board. He correctly solves the first 9 results but writes 10x9 = 91 on the board. When the class realized the mistake, laughter erupted. They pointed out the mistake, and some students even made disparaging remarks.?
??????????????: I wrote the last equation wrong on purpose because I wanted you to learn something important. I wrote the correct equation nine times, but nobody congratulated me on that. As soon as I made a mistake, you laughed and criticized me. Why do you think that is??
?? ?????????????? ????????????????: Maybe it is because you are supposed to be smarter than us. Another said: Yes, and it's funny.?
?????? ?????????????? ??????????????????: I may be in a position of authority, but that doesn’t make me perfect or smarter than you. I am a teacher, but I’m also a human being who makes mistakes. Soon you will discover the world is quick to criticize and find fault, and much slower to praise and find the positive. You will all experience criticism many times in your life.?And the reason is very simple. Those who are lucky enough to succeed or become quite successful will likely experience more criticism than the rest. Because you will find the one thing people love more than pointing out another's mistakes is when they can do it to someone who's achieved more than them. However, the person who criticizes others is only revealing the lack within themselves.
Those who are happy within themselves need not point out the faults in others.?Therefore, as a manager, it is especially important not only to criticize employees and reduce them to their mistakes. Employees are more than just tools to achieve your goals, valuable only when the results align.?Certainly, mistakes need to be addressed, worked on, corrected, and learned from. However, they should be used to empower employees and invest in their further development. Those who see the good in their employees, recall their great qualities, and always pursue the goal that everyone can achieve great things with the right support will build a fantastic team around them.?
