Chris' favorite summer reading books (2023)

Over the last few months, I have tried my best to read at least 30 minutes a day, and while I was not able to accomplish this goal, I have learned a lot by reading the books listed below.


The principles of giving and serving others emphasized in these books contribute to effective leadership, and strengthen my belief in servant leadership. By embracing empathy, appreciation, and accountability, leaders can foster a positive work culture and enhance employee engagement, ultimately driving organizational success.

Becoming aware, recognizing, and aligning individual strengths within a team can lead to higher job satisfaction, productivity, and teamwork, and also remove frustrations or unwanted emotional responses.

Understanding why at times you hesitate, and forming habits to overcome hesitation and take decisive actions can improve decision-making and increase productivity in careers and projects.

The focus on core strengths and continuous improvement inspires sustainable growth and competitive advantage. Adopting a continuous improvement mindset promotes incremental progress in various aspects of life.

Cultivating resilience by silencing self-doubt and taking courageous steps toward goals leads to personal growth.
