Choosing your location or background.

Commercial photographer creatively solving corporate and advertising assignments
When you decide it's time for new corporate photo, think about what you are trying to say and where the photos will be used ( what are your company colours or brand guide rules).
When photographing on location I always ask to scout the location. If thats not practical, then send some photos of the areas you think are best. When I scouted for this photo, the background was very busy. A simple solution was to throw the background out of focus and desaturate it, creating a less distracting background.
Adding a new a background to a mix of photographs can easily make a more unified look for your web site.
