Choosing Your Hard Has Never Been Easier
TL;DR Choose your hard and live your life.
Well, the circus is back on the road! Getting fired up because we are "running it back" on this work-from-anywhere lifestyle this year. Yes, it's a challenge, but we're up for it.
Last week was the first step in our journey for us this year- we had to split up the gang. My wife, Tambre, went down to Miami to represent Team USA in a beach volleyball tournament, while the kids and I went to Orlando to visit my parents, who are in town.
Go, Team USA!
Tambre played exceptionally well, but unfortunately, her team lost in the last 20 seconds of the match. It was heartbreaking, but Tambre's performance throughout the tournament was truly inspiring.
Despite the loss, Tambre's passion for the sport and her resilience in the face of adversity was truly remarkable. And we know that she will only come back stronger and more determined to succeed in the future. I'm amazed by her grit.

Ultimately, I want to express this week that it boils down to life being hard, no matter how you look at it, so why not choose your hard? I remember hearing Jerry Seinfeld's quote, "Your blessing in life is when you find the torture you're comfortable with."
This experience has reminded me that life is full of highs and lows, and we must be resilient in the face of adversity. It's okay to feel disappointed and heartbroken sometimes, but we must keep pushing forward and never give up on our dreams.
Whether it's pursuing our passions or cherishing our relationships, life is a journey filled with beautiful opportunities and challenges. We can navigate life's challenges with grace and resilience by embracing a growth mindset and choosing our perspective.
Meanwhile, in Orlando...
A core value for our family is that life is all about choosing your hard; by choosing your hard and embracing the challenges that come with it, you can build a strong foundation for success and personal fulfillment.
Despite my colleagues and the company I work for being accommodating, working remotely is hard for me, as it requires me to adapt to a new way of working and communicating with colleagues. It can be straight-up frustrating.
However, I understand that it is necessary for this part of my life to enable the lifestyle my family and I have chosen to live. The flexibility to work from anywhere allows us to travel, spend time with loved ones, and pursue our passions without sacrificing our careers. While it can be challenging at times, I'm grateful for the opportunity to work remotely and the freedom it provides.

Working remotely has forced me to become highly efficient with my time. With life outside of work being so demanding, I simply can't afford to waste any precious moments. I have to make the most out of the 40 hours a week that I'm given, so I've become more focused and intentional in my work. I've learned to eliminate distractions and prioritize tasks to ensure that I'm making progress toward my goals. Working remotely has also given me more control over my schedule, allowing me to work during the hours when I'm most productive. While it can be challenging at times, being forced to be so efficient with my time has been a valuable lesson and has helped me become a more productive and effective worker.
