Choosing To Never Stop: A Personal Story

I've had many reasons to give up in life. In 2012, my first-ever event in the city of Lagos was a huge disappointment. It was supposed to be a seminar. It held at the Rise Place (owned by Toyosi Rise Akerele) somewhere around Ikeja. Despite all publicity efforts (majorly online), not a single soul showed up! It was only me, a volunteer gentleman (Ayeni Paullyde Olaide), and the two guest speakers I had invited that showed up. That was enough to stop me from ever organizing events again.
That day, I ended up conducting an interview for one of the guest speakers- Akintunde Bada Johnson (Deputy Creative Director at SO & U Saatchi & Saatchi). Both speakers encouraged me to never stop and never give up.
(The attached pictures show the flier of the event at The Rise Place; me and the two guest speakers; and some of my other packed events in the same Lagos).
Since then till now I have honoured invitations to speak at campuses and churches, and my own personally-organized events have sometimes been packed full to the extent that people have had to stand on their feet due to insufficient seating space. My sold-out training sessions have attracted corporate audiences from the World Bank, U.S. Diplomatic Mission Nigeria, IBM, Super Sport, Dana Airlines Limited, Stanbic IBTC, MTN, BBDO West Africa, Ventures Africa Magazine, This Day Newspapers, BusinessDay Newspapers, Eko Hotel & Suites, Covenant Universiy, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, VConnect, Cummins, Trustfund Pensions Plc, Paga, HotSauce, Konga, Ringier Nigeria Ltd, Viacom, etc. And I haven't stopped. Still thinking of giving up?
