Choosing a Mentor With My Way

1. Identify the Requirement- Need, Requirement & Why?
Firstly know your requirement loud & clear for you as well as for the system involving you in. There should be no gap(s), no curtain(s), no controversy(s) between your requirements & needs. I mean it with Demand-Supply Ratio should be maintained at every level, whatever the phase is. It is well applicable in whether you are in business, Service, Job, and Entrepreneurship or whatsoever the field it may be. Together you & with your circumstances have at-least to decide that, what actually you need. Purpose, cause, benefits, advantages etc would come yet after. Meanwhile before they came into existence individually, you itself has to crystal clear with your requirements & needs, what they are actually? It has been broadly understood throughout the globe that Mentor-ship is exclusively required in Entrepreneurship, but my view is somewhat contrary to it. Mentors are not required in Entrepreneurship only but also required in every place, every area, every level right from the birth. During natal period, Mother itself plays a role of Mentor. After that, School Teachers, Elders becomes the Mentor. Sometimes Fathers, Grandfathers did the role for the same. But for sure at every level, every step you walk upon, you needs a Mentor.
2. Decision is completely yours- Who would be your Mentor?
Most of the Study says that Mentor should have well experienced (at-least more than you). But my view says. The person who inspired properly, guide you enough with his/her vision (whether it maybe or may not be experienced more than you or beneath) can lie under the category for your as being the Mentor despite of being less educated than you. What actually indeed a mentor should have possessed are really the Deep insight, Knowledge, Experience (Maybe or May not be), Communication, Vision & most importantly “The Objective”.
A Kid can be Mentor. A well experienced old person can be a mentor. It is actually & purely a wisest decision of only yours that s/he would be your Mentor or not. Certainly it is quite possible that you consider someone as your Mentor without his/her knowledge. Sometimes it helps but sometimes may lead to cause very much Danger. So for that involved area, you should have to be very much persisting that to which you are considering the Mentor. It is under his/her knowledge, otherwise one way traffic sometimes may lead to cause destruction which neither I nor you or anybody wants. So be ready & alert in that area too. Take time to decide, but decide with confidence. Tell your view about your selecting Mentor like “Why”, “How” etc. Don’t make it force at any cost. Actually as like as you need a Mentor. The Mentor also needs a Men-tee like you. So make effort with proper direction in this regards. Success will be yours.
Once you have decided to declare one person as to be your Mentor. Tell them officially. Nobody is asking for the certificate of appreciation from you. But this becomes our moral duty. This would help him/her to understand our part. In real it is actually depends upon mutual understanding (on personal level) that other person will accept the honor given by you or not. Sometimes bridge will not be completed, but in our understanding it seems to be completed. So be alert in this part. If bridge is not completed, the movement of traffic may lead to cause unexpected or unconditional Failure. If this happen, you have to again start form the first step.
But if the selected person accepted your kind proposal, your Mentor-ship gets started from that point of time with a green Signal open to make the traffic movement with “To & Fro motion”.
Circuit gets completed & now ready to flow the current through it. As the current will flow through the circuit, the bulb would be enlightened to make illuminate everybody.
3. Who is Mentor- What Actually is Mentoring ; Functioning?
Mentor is actually a trusted person or a trusted advisory. Indeed a trusted counselor. H/She may be a motivator or a guide or maybe you can say them a coach. IMO It is the person who actually imparts the wisdom in real (physically, mentally, logically as well as emotionally & psychologically). Mentor actually serves as the link between the manners & code of conduct. Also it lies in between the institution & administration. For some they have been understand like a Role-Model, which is not false. The basic work of real mentor is just like cement between two bricks, which actually fills the gap between two bricks & convert them into walls of strength which ultimately leads to a big building. That's why it provides the strength to the relationship (Mentor-Men-tee). Together Mentor-Men-tee relationship should maintain the highest level of Ethics to adhere well being which ultimately forms the new ways to think, go beyond off the beaten path with new ways to find success with work. Mentors will likely change throughout your career as your position changes and thus the areas of advice needed changes in accordance with the areas of expertise. Anybody can lies in the category of Mentor. There is no gender discrimination here. A women can be a best Mentor so the Men as well. And most unique thing I have learned is that a Kid can be your Mentor (Not directly but yes indeed indirectly).

4. How to Choose a Mentor- Process?
IMHO Choosing a Mentor is just a simple & primary step to building a relationship, if it is healthy enough, the benefits would be more but if else need some recovery from both the parties involved i.e. Mentor & Men-tee itself.
Always make the healthy environment with smile, respect, values with harmony to continue the relationship long life, because as the time passes the bond also becomes strong enough. Make the bond as toughest as you can with building a trust, believe, value & most importantly with honesty behind. Accept your faults, mistakes & errors in front of him/her if you have done anything wrong. This may lead you to learn how to accept. Ask them how to overcome those areas? To every big decision, under Mentoring, Do always ask from your mentor to step forward.
Be open, loyal & genuine for question-answer. A healthy communication with logic behind in which most of the part is taken by active & passive listening lead you towards success time after time step after step forwarded on the path of success.
Together with your Mentor, you can convert your "illness" to "wellness"
