Choosing to Live In Harmony

In my last message about morning routines, I challenged you to consider why morning routines don’t work.
Then, I shared how you could use a morning - or a day time or a night time - routine could benefit you.
The challenge with following a prescription form for creating a morning routine or success is that it is more like putting you into a box.
I suggest getting into a boat.
And floating downstream.
What do I mean by floating downstream?
Start with your natural tendencies.
This is not a bad habit you’ve developed, it’s your natural energy and taking the path of least resistance.
It doesn’t mean cave in, it means to live in harmony with self and others.
Isn't that what we all want?
Harmony?
Think of a river. It finds its way to the ocean (or other body of water), naturally, moving up and down and around things. The water just flows.
You can have that too.
You can move from your bed, to your tasks, and back to your bed with more grace, ease, enjoyment, and enthusiasm.
You can shift your energy to a set of tasks that have similar energy requirements, stop and break state with that set of tasks, go outside and take a breath and start a new set of tasks.
You can find your kids socks, have a clean kitchen, and know what you are working on in your mission or business and how it will help you.
It requires learning to let go of busy, perfection, workaholism, control, and hustle as the main approach.
It also requires shifts in thinking, shifts in believing, shifts in communicating, and shifts in actions.
But you know that gig - you’ve been walking that experience since you arrived.
It starts with grounding in yourself - your core essence - and reinforcing and remembering who you are so you bring your best self to each role and goal.
Then grounding in with your vision and mission. Everything stems from and serves your mission and vision because that's why you’re here. You’re HERE for a reason… and….you are
Take a moment for yourself.
Absorb. Ponder. Reflect.
Imagine...yourself moving through your day with more grace, ease, and enthusiasm. Feeling content at the end of the day.
- Where is the resistance?
- Where is the bottleneck?
- Where is the gap?
Just pay attention to when you’re feeling out of harmony.
And know you don’t have to settle for that or tolerate it.
It CAN shift.
Is it time?
